The Story Behind Elegant Deer
We founded Elegant Deer not because we had it all figured out — but because we couldn't ignore the vision. A vision of wearable art, mindful design, and a space where creativity isn’t filtered through algorithms or dictated by middlemen.
It all began in 2022. We were two cousins from Prague — Jakub and Zdeněk Morávek — trying to share our art with the world. Back then, we sold bookmarks and puzzles through third-party platforms. But while they made it easy to start, they came at a cost: unfair fees, creative limits, and little control over quality.
Despite investing tens of thousands into our own product development, we knew we could do better. So we set out to build something of our own. A platform where we could curate every detail, work sustainably, and tell stories that mattered.
It took time. We experimented. We failed forward. We reworked everything from design to logistics until it felt right. What emerged was Elegant Deer — a Print-on-Demand brand with soul.
Here, we collaborate with carefully selected artists whose work deserves to be worn, not hidden. We turn visions into clothing, puzzles, posters, and everyday objects that spark joy and connection. Our long-term dream? To work with storytellers, film studios, and cultural visionaries to co-create what the world actually wants to wear.
Sustainability is at the heart of it all. We produce only what is needed — no stockpiles, no waste. Because we’re tired of seeing unsold fast fashion dumped into landfills or along foreign coastlines. There is a better way. And we’re walking it, slowly and consciously.
Neither of us can draw. But that never stopped us. We use AI not as a shortcut, but as a brush — a tool to translate the scenes in our minds into something tangible. And when we see our designs worn by real people across the world, we know: the story is working.
Elegant Deer isn’t just a brand. It’s a shared space for imagination. And this is only the beginning.

He works internationally in heavy industry, photographs pearls, runs a creative studio, and helps entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life. Elegant Deer is where all these paths meet.

With a deep eye for aesthetics and technical harmony, Zdeněk shapes the visual soul of Elegant Deer. From AI-assisted design to product stylization, he crafts pieces that feel both striking and thoughtful.
Outside of the brand, he builds robotic warehouse systems around the world — balancing precision engineering with creative spirit.
